Rx Haiku

Rx Haiku is a live performance-piece where strangers bring their quandaries and conundrums and are given a hand-typed prescription in haiku form.

Looking for a way to connect deeply with strangers, I considered taking a job as a tollbooth worker or a cashier at a Starbucks, but instead came up with Rx Haiku which combines my love of vintage typewriters, poetry, people and the medical world.

Rx Haiku has been done at parties, festivals and corporate events.
